Rigger/Signal Person - Two Day Class
January 5-6, 2012
OSHA now requires that each signal person must understand the type of signals being used, be competent in the application of those signals, have a basic understanding of equipment operation and limitations, and demonstrate this knowledge through an oral or written test and a practical test. This requirement may be met through a Qualified Third Party Evaluator or the Employers Qualified Evaluator. (29 CFR 1926.1428(3)c)
